Doha (QAT): Qatar’s Duha Al Habshi won one gold, silver and two bronze medals at the Artistic Gymnastics in the Arab Gymnasiade in Beirut, Lebanon, last week.

Al Habshi won gold in uneven bars, vault in silver and bronze in floor exercise. She also finished third in individual All-Around event.

Qatar Gymnastics Federation President Ali Ahmed Al Hitmi hailed the level of the competitions and said he was satisfied with Duha’s overall performance.

“I’m really happy for Dhoha. What made me happy was her fighting spirit and commitment,” said Qatar Gymnastics Federation President Ali Ahmed Al Hitmi, who is also the Qatar School Sport Association Secretary General.

He also thanked the Qatar Olympic Committee for their support to the young Qatari gymnasts.

“Without QOC supports, the sport wouldn’t have expanded in the country,” said Al Hitmi.
